For decades, the Street Art Fair has featured lively street performances to engage our strolling audience. While marveling at the high quality art featured at our fair, keep an eye out for our talented street performers:
MR. B
Thirty years ago a tall young man dragged an upright piano to the corner of South University and East University Avenues, in the middle of the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, and started to play. He went by the name Mr. B and he’s been back every year since.
In 2003 the Original Street Art Fair relocated to the North University side of the Diag and Mark Braun (aka Mr. B) came along. Now under a tent with a grand piano on North University at the intersection of Ingalls Mall, Mark, and occasionally friends Bob Seeley and James Dapogny, are an official tradition of the Fair.

RUSSELL DONNELLON
Russell Donnellon is an innovative and versatile performer whose style reflects the wide scope of his influences. He joins the classical guitar (its technique, repertoire, counterpoint and sonic palette) with the harmonic and improvisational impulse of jazz. Romantic, deeply textured, vividly evocative and heartwarming, it is supported by the rhythms of Brazil, the Caribbean, Spain, the Gypsies, and American Pop, Country, Blues, Jazz and Gospel. Russell pushes the envelope of the orchestral and emotional potential of the solo guitar.
