GETTING AROUND THE ART FAIR: MAPS

Need a wheelchair? Borrow one for FREE at the intersection of North University and Fletcher (provided by the UM Health System’s Home Care Service)

GETTING TO THE FAIR: BY CAR

PARKING: The Maynard Street Parking Structure provides convenient parking two blocks from the center of the Original Fair.  Evening and Saturday parking is available at the University of Michigan parking garage on Thayer and Washington, and at the Palmer Deck (enter off Washtenaw and take the walkway), both immediately adjacent to the Fair. Many downtown city structures and lots cost $10 a day ($5 after 5 PM). Neighborhood parking is available all along State St.  north of Washington at schools, churches, and apartment buildings for a fee.

    Parking fee: $10 per day; $5 after 5pm


Golden Westside Art Fair Park & Ride Shuttle and A2 Art Trolley present by VisitAnn Arbor

    Location: Maple Village (155 N. Maple Rd.)
    Parking free
    Round-trip $4, includes A2 Art Trolley ticket (ride all day)
    Kids 12 and under ride free
    Shuttle stops: Links all fairs (see map for stops)
    Trolley links all fairs and Golden Shuttle (see map for stops)
    Trolley tickets (ride all day) sold separately, $1.

 

AATA Art Fair Park & Ride Shuttle, www.theride.org

    Two locations: Pioneer High School and Briarwood Mall
    Parking free
    Round-trip $3; one-way $1.50
    Students & Fare Deal cardholders, One-way $.60
    Senior/ADA cardholders & kids five and younger ride free
    Shuttle stops: Main Street at William and S. University near State Street
    Buses return to both parking locations from either shuttle bus stops

 

U-M Commuter Bus

    Location: North Campus Research Complex, lot NC-90 (former Pfizer property, on the west side of Huron Parkway.
        Entry on Huron Parkway at Baxter Road)
    Parking, $5 per car; All UM bus trips are free
    Southbound Take “Commuter South” or westbound “Northwood” route to fairs;
        Northbound “Commuter North” or “Northwood” route from Fletcher Street to parking

Frequency & Service: 10 – 15 minutes; Wed-Fri 9am-10pm; Sat 9am-7pm
U-M Commuter Bus, every 20 minutes on Saturday
Pets not allowed; service animals welcomed
Buses & Trolley are wheelchair accessible and air-conditioned
Wheelchairs are available at the fairs, 734.975.6800 for info
