2008 Performances on the Lawn
: Ingalls Mall Lawn, W-F noon to 9pm, Sat noon to 6pm: The Street Art Fair stage features an exciting and eclectic program of music, dance and magic that is family friendly and forward thinking. Headline acts include Mick Basset and the Marthas' rock n roll gumbo, the sassy, charming, and raw Sista Otis and the Wholly Rollers, Gary Prince and the Royal Family serving up sizzlin' blues, and the Third Coast Kings delivering proper deepfunk and soul.
2008 Visual Art Workshops
: Ingalls Mall Lawn, W-Sat 11am-5pm: Workshops cover a wide variety of techniques and media from
silk-screening fabrics and creating stencils from photos, to cutting up
and customizing old T-shirts, to making DIY canvases out of natural and
sustainable materials. The workshops focus on using reused, recycled and natural materials to encourage sustainable, environmentally sound art making. Led by vibrant local Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti artists, the workshops are highly hands-on and interactive, empowering participants to continue to create sustainable DIY art after the Fair.

The Imagination Station will be stationed at the ArtZone, at the South end of Ingalls Mall lawn, presenting fun kids' activities each day throughout the Fair.
The Balloon Buddies will be on-site at the Imagination Station on Saturday, stop by for a custom balloon creation!
Be sure to stop by Fantasy Faces by 2clowns.com in the Imagination Station to transform yourself into a tiger, a butterfly, or whatever your heart desires!
This year, the Imagination Station is going green! Come learn how to make art and help the environment at the same time. We'll be making recycled bottle cap accessories and ornaments, recycled paper towel roll rainsticks, recycled milk carton birdhouses, and our favorite Art Fair staple, paper bag hats.
